"Effects of Borders on the Health and Well-being of Immigrant Communities"

Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018
Noon - 1 p.m.

The Immigrant Student Resource Center (ISRC), the newest addition to the amazing work of the UA Early Academic Outreach office, is open. The ISRC helps recruit and retain students at the University of Arizona from immigrant and refugee backgrounds. We provide academic, career, scholarship and social support to currently enrolled students, including students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) work permits, undocumented students, students with mixed-immigration status families and students from refugee backgrounds. We also train university staff, faculty and administrators how to work more effectively with students from immigrant and refugee backgrounds.
