Inflammatory pain induced alterations in the blood-brain barrier including brain uptake of opioid drugs and paracellular permeability changes due to tight junction modifications. Mechanisms governing intranasal drug delivery to the CNS. Pathophysiological changes affecting intranasal drug delivery to the CNS.
